TOUR de LAKE

DIRECTIONS

Trail Descriptions
NOTE: We no longer use the back section of the Fire Road (the Gnarley Downhill) it is best to go down Point Pass. Log Cabin Trail has been closed.

You can go either  way from the parking lot at the lake - the Fireroad to the right (when facing the water) around the west side of the lake and Charlie's Challenge comes in from the east across the dam. Most riders circle the lake in a counterclockwise direction, that is, out the west side and back on Charlie's and the descriptions follow that route. Of course, you're welcome to ride in either direction and for those who ride here regularly reversing direction can be like adding new trails.

As you can see on the map, trails can be combined in different ways for variety and to fit the way you feel like riding that day. As you ride, be aware of signs of the history of the area. Before we began recreating here, folks were working these hill for a living and the foundations and rock piles tell their story. Enjoy your ride!
